Each holiday season, The Salvation Army engages in the tradition of "staffing the kettles" to promote the plight of the those in need. With the help of the donations brought in The Salvation Army can continue to provide valuable programs such as the Family Shelter and Children Programs.

During the holidays children receive gifts through the Christmas Angel Program. Families in crisis are helped through the Adopt-a-Family program where individuals can sponcer a family.
